Accessibility
The implementation of Article 47 of the Law of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for persons with disabilities stipulates that all online government services must be accessible to all.
The voxsight website has been designed to be accessible to as many people as possible, particularly those with disabilities.
This means that all internet users must be able to access all of the site’s content without their disability constituting an obstacle.
In order to be usable by people with disabilities who use different means of navigation (navigation without a mouse or keyboard), specialised software or hardware (voice reader, Braille display) or who require customisation of the site’s display (enlarged font, contrast quality), the site complies with the recommendations of the RGAA.
In order to maintain this high level of quality, the voxsight teams continuously monitor accessibility standards when updating the site.
Accessibility standards include the following conditions:
- font sizes can be enlarged and reduced
- images have alternative text where necessary
- language changes are indicated
- headings are set at several levels
- tables are accessible to voice readers
- it is possible to navigate this site without using a mouse, using tab navigation
- colour contrasts are sufficiently contrasting or modifiable
- pages are correctly structured and consistent, both in terms of graphics and editorial style
- forms are accessible from any device (desktop computer, tablet, mobile phone)
- the site’s layout is separated from its content through the use of style sheets. The use of CSS positioning properties, completely separating presentation and content, allows
- documents to maintain a consistent order outside of CSS: title, menus, content, etc.
- the HTML code used to build this site complies with W3C recommendations and has been tested using the consortium’s HTML validator
Voxsight's accessibility policy
voxsight is committed to ensuring digital accessibility in general and compliance with the RGAA (General Reference Framework for Accessibility Improvement) in particular. To comply with the requirements of the French Interministerial Directorate for Digital and Information and Communication Systems (DINSIC), the voxsight website bases its compliance on version 4.0 of the RGAA.
To enable its various departments to ensure that this accessibility requirement is properly taken into account, voxsight has implemented several measures:
- awareness-raising and training for its staff and service providers
- consideration of accessibility throughout the creative process
- the creation of a best practice guide
- the ongoing appointment of an internal accessibility advisor
State of compliance
The voxsight website is partially compliant with the RGAA version 4.1 general accessibility improvement guidelines. An internal audit has been carried out on the website, but voxsight has been designed to be accessible to as many people as possible, particularly those with disabilities.
Non-compliances and any exemptions are listed below.
Content not subject to accessibility requirements
- Third-party content that is neither funded nor developed by the organisation concerned and is not under its control (e.g. online frames and YouTube players)
- Files available in office formats
- Pre-recorded audio and video content, including those with interactive components
Inaccessible content
- Criterion 1.2. Is each decorative image correctly ignored by assistive technologies?
- Criterion 3.1. On each web page, information must not be conveyed solely by colour. Is this rule being followed?
- Criterion 7.1. Is each script, where necessary, compatible with assistive technologies?
- Criterion 8.2. For each web page, is the generated source code valid according to the specified document type?
- Criterion 8.9. On each web page, tags must not be used solely for presentation purposes. Is this rule being followed?
- Criterion 10.3. On each web page, does the information remain understandable when style sheets are disabled?
- Criterion 12.4. In each set of pages, is the ‘site map’ page accessible in the same way?
- Criterion 13.3. On each web page, does each downloadable office document have an accessible version, if necessary (except in special cases)?
This corresponds to approximately 10% of the RGAA Version 4.1 criteria that are non-compliant.
